CSI Goudie Higher Secondary School was founded in 1857 by free church of Scotland mission in 1891, it was handed over to the Methodist missionary society during the late period of Rev.William goudie and till 1978 it has been known Goudie high school and was upgraded as Higher secondary school 1979.The school has one English medium section in each standard up to 12th and Tamil is the medium of instruction in the all the other classes it is imagined by the board of higher education diocese, church of south India.
The school gives education and christian principles religious and moral instruction which forms regular part of the course in all classes.
Rev Masilamani azariah bishop in madras is the pioneer person to introduce computer courses in rural areas. he himself dedicated started computer coursed in our school from 1997 to 1998 computer course has been introduce as 4th component Subject biology.(group 1)
